How to Generate the Proper Report Format Using The MallMaster POS System from Computer Support Services, Inc.

Version X.XX (2011)

Nov 20, 2015

From a user: I can share with you from a MallMaster perspective how to export the sales.

"X_Sales.txt" is a default name and is the folder that houses the export.

In Mall Master we follow these steps.

Click on "File" upper left corner

Click on "Export Sales" A pop up box will appear.

Chose the start date and end date that you wish to export.

Then click on "Export" (I think that last step is export)

You'll actually see the default X_Sales.txt listed in the box. It should be saved in
a directory C:\mallmaster\X_Sales.txt

Once you click "Export", Master will compile your data. It runs in the background and
takes about 5 to 20 seconds depending on the time frame and number of vendors.

"The uploading to Mall-Central.com is customized from your instructions.
I actually set an icon on the desktop that the sales person clicks on
after they do the export and it kicks off the upload job."

Assuming the sales data file, X_Sales.txt was saved in the folder (or directory) C:\mallmaster
then you should download the helper files and save them in the same directory C:\mallmaster

The helper files are located on your Store Page along the right side above the
yellow "unsubscribe" button.

Instructions for downloading the three helper files is linked from your Store Page.

A shortcut for SALES_UPLOAD.BAT can be placed on your Desktop. Do not move the original file.
